It’s time to tidy up your grills, put on your cut-off’s and sandels and revel in the day out barbequing and toking countless Cigars. Along with my favorite stogies, I love to sip on a glass of scotch and just relax. After such a long winter, which appeared to be longer than years past, last weekend was perfect BBQ weather. I was able to finally open all of my windows and air out the house. I don’t smoke inside, it needed airing out anyway. I tuned up my lawn mower because yes, unfortunately it is that time of the year also. The snow is gone and the grass is growing. I don’t mind cutting my grass and keeping the lawn up. There’s basically a great satisfaction to a nice looking lawn and worth all of the effort. This past weekend, I smoked my favourite cigar and BBQ’d up some ribs and pork steaks. I love to think of myself as the master chef, king of the griddle. There is nothing like lighting those coals and going to the town on bountiful meats and vegetables. Of course I think of myself as a charcoal man, I adore the flavour of the grill. If you use gas, it does not get the smokey flavour that I love and is way overrated. I invited all of my pals and naturally the other half and youngsters were there. It’s a bit to cold to swim yet, but once commemorative day comes around, I’m going to open the pool for the season. My kids love swimming and splashing around, I am also known to take a dip with cigar and scotch in hand. Summer is a great time to get together with family and friends and enjoying life they way you need to.
